Large Acrylic Display Cases
Here at Display UK we build hundreds of Acrylic Display Cases a month, from standard stock sizes through to custom sized cases for memorabilia display, museum displays, school college and university displays, National Trust and English Heritage displays, BBC sets, retail showrooms, galleries, exhibition displays, and much more....... One of the questions that were are frequently asked is "how large can you build a standalone acrylic display case?" So, we have created this page to give you an idea. This is the largest size that we can make a display case that is still suitable for fully assembled delivery. Any sizes larger than this, we will usually suggest that the case is built with an aluminium framing system and assembled on site, as they become just too heavy to move and transport safely
Features of our Large Acrylic Display Cases:
- Made in our workshops in Christchurch on the Hampshire / Dorset border
- Manufactured using Perspex Acrylic® sheet. Perspex Acrylic® is made in the UK and is supplied with a 10 year UV warranty. This means that your case will not discolour or fade in direct sunlight for a minimum of 10 years
- External size of 1500mm long x 1000mm wide x 1000mm high
- Made from strong 10mm acrylic sheet
- The weight of this 5 sided cover is approx. 80kgs - cover and base is approx 95kgs
- All edges are diamond polished
- Supplied fully assembled and ready for use
- The case can be supplied with or without a rebated acrylic base
- Acrylic base is a strong 10mm thick and can be supplied in any of the 15 stock colours illustrated on the Perspex® colour chart shown on this page
- Our display cases keep your showpiece free from dust, protected from harmful UV rays and protected from the curious!!
- Perspex® clear acrylic is optically crystal clear and at 96% light transmission it is actually clearer than glass!
- Hand crafted by our skilled display case makers in our own workshops. As such, we can manufacture acrylic display cases that are made to measure. Please tell us the sizes that you need and we will return a quote within 24 hours. We can manufacture acrylic cases up to 1800mm long, but we have to consider and possibly offset height / width etc to make sure that the case is still safely liftable and structurally sound
Printed Large Acrylic Display Cases:
- Displays UK have invested in the latest direct to substrate acrylic printing technology, adhesion promotors, and specialist inks. We are now able to digitally print your logo, brand, message etc in full colour directly to your case. Please call for details
Delivery of Large Acrylic Display Cases:
- Made to order - please allow 7-10 working days for delivery. However, if your need is more urgent, please call us or complete the "Get a Quote form at the top of the page"
- Large acrylic display cases can be delivered anywhere in the UK, via our own delivery vehicles, pallet delivery or dedicated van couriers. Please note that we are unable to ship large acrylic display cases overseas
